Antique glass museum
Archaeological museum of ancient glass is a unique cultural institution, not only in Croatia but also in the rest of the world. The museum was founded on June 9th 2006 by the Croatian Government and officially opened in 2009. The permanent exhibition consists of eight different themes that have more than 2,000 exhibits dating from ancient times, and a period between 1st century B.C. and 5th century A.D. Beside the exhibition, there is also a glass workshop that makes replicas of ancient glass objects by glass blowing technique, glass jewelry on a burner and some souvenirs using the fusion method. There is also a souvenir shop inside the museum.

Museum of Ancient Glass is located in the old town of Zadar, around 650 meters away from the cathedral, requires an 8 minute walk; if you are reaching it from the old part of the town, you need to climb the stairs of the city walls
