Church of St. Barbara
The small church of St. Barbara was built in 1839. The parish is led by Parson Josip Kuzmić. The first parson in Draž was Krsto Pejkić, a merchant from Greece who converted to Catholicism after having moved to Venice. According to the 1991 census, Draž had a population of about 3,000 people. During the Homeland war, the people of Draž were banished, the parish church and clergy hall were damaged and the parish inventory was looted. Parson Josip Kuzmić was engaged in spiritual guidance for the Homeland.
