Church of St. Martin
Parish church of St. Martin
The parish church of St. Martin in Beram, which was rebuilt in neo-Romanesque style, keeps a completely preserved sanctuary of an older church from the Gothic period, whose frescoes are older than those on Škiljinah. In the church you can see a baptistery with a Glagolitic inscription and the late-Gothic relief depicting St. Martin. The altarpiece of St. Martin was made by Celestin Medović, famous Croatian painter. In this church you can also see some high-quality silver objects and mass vestments from the 15th to the 17th century.
