Church of St. Peter
Due to its well-preserved condition and architectural features, the Church of St. Peter (10th century) is considered to be one of the most important examples of Early Croatian Pre-Romanesque sacral architecture. It was first mentioned in 1074, during the rule of King Slavac. It is a single-nave domed church with a central and longitudinal floor plan. The parish of St. Peter the Apostle was consecrated in 2010 by Archbishop Marin Barišić. The church covers an area of 450 square meters. Next to it there is the pastoral centre, which occupies about 650 square meters. Friar Branko Periša designed its beautiful altar, ambo and baptistery.
