- City Museum
The City Museum is located on Strossmayer Square, the oldest palace of the city. It was established in the early 20th century (1904), on the place where many antique founds were kept in the city. Today, the activities of the museum, in addition to preserving antiquities, are also preservation, restoration and collecting various items. The museum has six collections, including: the Gallery’s collection, which is separate from the others, the Cultural and historical collection, the Historical collection, the Ethnological collection and the Archaeological collection. The museum currently has about 18 000 different artifacts.
