The Maritime Museum, which was founded in 1957, is located next to the promenade along the coast. Besides the ancient, early Christian and medieval exhibits, there are also numerous exhibits which testify to the maritime tradition of Pelješac and Orebić. Pictures of sailing ships, ship tools, weapons, atlases, nautical books, health and travel documents, ship pharmacy, medals, pictures of sailors, documents, lists of members, rules, carpenter tools, marine accessories and shipyards are part of the rich collections stored in the museum
