- Marmont’s Glorijet
The Glorijet, a circular colonnade built in the classicist style is located on the promenade between Kula and Kamerlengo, next to a football field. It is placed on a square pedestal, and has the shape of a pavilion, which consists of six stone pillars with a pointed roof. It was connected to the coast via a small bridge, and a monument to Napoleon was supposed to be at its centre. The Glorijet was built during the French rule, more precisely in 1809 in honour of the French marshal Marmont. The Glorijet is one of the few monuments from the time of the short-term French government of Dalmatia.
