Monument to Emperor Franz Joseph I
A monument built in honour and memory of the visit of the Austro-Hungarian Emperor Franz Joseph I was erected in Donji Miholjac during manoeuvres that were held from 12 to 14 September 1901. Academic sculptor Robert Frangeš Mihanović was the conceptual author of the project. On August 20, 1905 the monument was unveiled in the presence of the Croatian Ban (Viceroy) Teodor Pejačević. In Osijek, in the Museum of Slavonia is a relief bust that used to adorn the monument.
