The museum in the castle Prandau
A museum, which was founded in 1956, is located in the east wing of the castle Prandau – Normann. An exhibition named “The legacy of the noble family Prandau – Norman” was open on the day of Valpovo, in 2009 and it is daily available to visitors. This family, except from having owned the castle, marked the cultural life of Valpovo and Slavonia, so their legacy is not limited to objects, but also to the whole contribution to life and culture. Apart from the museum, visitors can see the rest of the castle which is built as a mixture of medieval and baroque architecture, take a walk around its yard and the interior of the castle, visit the park and look around the chapel to the sound of the organ.
