Old City Gate
The old town of Šibenik is, in addition to beautiful religious buildings, portals, Cathedral of St. James, the Duke’s Palace and many other sights, adorned by the famous old town gate, better known as the City Gate. The lead to a beautiful Gothic aisle, and the gate itself is framed with stone blocks and the city’s coat of arms with the image of St. Michael, the patron of the city of Šibenik. Next to the city gate the City Museum is located with its interesting historical exhibition, and one can also see the back of beautiful, unique Cathedral of St. James.

The City Gates are located in the old town of Šibenik, in the street of the same name (right behind the Cathedral of St. James, near the Šibenik Town Museum).
