- Pejačević Chapel
Pejačević Family Chapel
In 1923 the famous Croatian composer Dora Pejačević passed away. Her body was transferred to Našice, and she was buried across the city cemetery in a special tomb near the chapel with other deceased members of her family. The chapel was built in 1881 according to Herman Bolle’s design. It was built in the neo-Gothic style. Next to it is a church and the family tomb with Croatian bans and counts, Ladislav and Teodor Pejačević. The grave of Dora Pejačević is outside the family tomb, but it is uncertain whether it is by her own desire or because of the disagreements she had with the family for marrying the plebeian Ottomar von Lumbe.
