Besides its beauty, the Queen’s Beach is famous for being connected to a legend involving the first Croatian king, Tomislav. The legend has it that king Tomislav’s wife was especially attracted by the beach’s beauty, and the Royal Family, whenever they officially came to Nin would visit it. This sandy beach has an extremely long beach shallow and is ideal for families with small children. In its vicinity there is the largest known location of medicinal mud in Croatia.
