Apart from the natural beauties that make Červar-Porat even more beautiful, this place also boasts a protected area in which excavations were found. Smaller estates and production farms dating back to the Antique were found in this area. Villae rusticate was a production farm which consisted of two production complexes: an oil mill and a ceramic complex with a brick oven. The ceramic complex cannot be thoroughly explained because some important parts are missing. Still, with the help of lamps, various figurines and other items it is possible to conclude that the brick oven was widely used. The brick oven was demolished and the space has been used as a garden ever since. As for the oil mill with four spills, which was built in the late 2th century, the remains of olive mills and several presses were also found.
