Almost all settlements between Ilok and Vukovar are located between Fruška gora (Frankish Mountain) and the banks of the beautiful Danube. Among those settlements is the village of Šarengrad, where you can enjoy the amazing landscape. In Šarengrad you will find a gothic church tower and monastery on one side, and on the other side, the broad Danube River. Šarengrad has a long history, as evidenced by the Voćin fortress overlooking the village and the coast built by Ban (Viceroy) Morovićki, and the Gothic church and monastery of St. Peter and Paul.
