Church St. Fosca

The Church of St. Fosca was built in the Renaissance and Baroque styles. The facade of the church is simple, with two windows with bars situated along the portal. At the church tower were two bells, one from the 17th and the other from the 18th century. During the First World War, one bell was replaced. Both bells were removed by the Italians during the Second World War. Today, they can be found on the bell tower of the church of St. Martin. The church contains a rich collection featuring the image of Torture of St. Fosca dating back to the 17th century, together with tombstones adorned with coats of arms and Latin inscriptions. Close to the altar, there is a tomb of the Vrsar priest Luka Prodanić who died in 1659. His tombstone bears a carving of a wafer and a chalice.
