St. Martin doors
St. Martin doors were created in 1458. as part of another defense wall. On the door, there is a plate in three languages, Croatian, Italian and English, which provides brief information on the door. The door is protected by a large tower of St. Martin, and they lead to the church of the same name – the Church of St. Martin, which dates from the 16th century, is the oldest church in Buje, and was built in several phases. The road to the Church is paved with stone. The door is located below the house in which local residents live. In Buje, there is also a cemetery which was redecorated into a memorial park.
