- The Keglević Palace
The Keglević Palace
In contrast to the Old Town, outside the ancient walls, a representative palace of the notable family Keglević was built on the grange in the 17th century. After the construction and reconstruction of the palace, which took place around 1775 by the famous Varaždin architect Jacob Erber, the palace got its Rococo style appearance and has been preserved in such state until today. Today, it houses the scientific department of the Croatian Academy of Arts and Sciences in Varaždin.
