- The Live Museum
The Live Museum
One of the most interesting tourist attractions in Split is the only live museum in Croatia. It is located in the city centre, on the Cornaro tower, near the statue of Gregory of Nin, the Art Gallery, and the Golden Gate of Diocletian’s Palace. It consists of the original Roman scenery and actors dressed in Roman clothes. They perform a 15 minute play based on historical Roman stories. Here, you can meet the emperor, soldiers, plebeians, senators, slaves and try out their swords, shields, helmets and armors. The performances are the perfect way to explore the interesting Roman way of life.
