On the 5th of September 1891, a streetcar run by horsepower drove on the streets of Zagreb for the first time. In 1910 the electrifications were placed on the stations, and in 1931 ZET (Zagreb Electric Tram) was founded. A few more of important Zagreb vehicles are the cable car from 1890 and the Sljeme funicular from 1963. When in Zagreb, you don’t have to worry about transportation because you can always go by tram – there are 15 day and 4 night tram lines.
