- Venetian Gothic house
Venetian Gothic house
Even though Venice never managed to occupy the whole of Istria, remains of their culture can be seen throughout Istria. On the way to the main square, in the narrow streets you will find a Venetian Gothic palace which boasts the coat of arms of the noble family Polesini from 1495. The Venetian culture can also be recognized by multi-storey houses which are adorned with windows and balconies made in the style of Venetian Gothic.
