The Emanuel Vidović Gallery is located next to the Silver Gate, in the renovated classicist house which was designed as a classicist gymnasium in 1836 by Vicko Andrić. The original gallery collection consisted of 69 Vidović’s paintings, which were bought in 1986 by his successors. The permanent exhibition consists of thematically and chronologically organized painter’s works. The documentary material about the great Split painter is shown on the walls between floors. There is a replica of Vidović’s studio in one part of the Gallery, and a bronze cast of Vidović’s bust is located on the mezzanine between the ground and the first floor.
