Palit is partly located along the bay of St. Euphemia, closed by the small peninsula Frkanj. Although the youngest town on the island, Palit is an excellent choice for holidays due to its favorable location and the distance from the beach, public transport and shops. Nearby are the popular beaches Frkanj and Škver which are a favorite destination for both locals and tourists, but for lovers of nudism in the vicinity is the oldest naturist beach on the Adriatic Sea in the Bay Kandarola. Palit is located 2.5 kilometers from the old town of Rab and is connected by taxi boats that also drive to the peninsula Frkanj.
