Beli Manastir (Eastern Croatia)
The name of the city Beli Manastir dates back to the Middle Ages, preciselly to 1227., when Moys de Daro built a monastery in Pél. Today, it is the only city in Baranja. Beli Manastir is a small city, but it has several beautiful attractions which are worth visiting. If you want to freshen up after the tour, you can visit the city pools which include a small and a large swimming pool, and are located at the entrance to the city. Fashion shows, concerts and other enjoyable entertainment events are often organized there. Of course, the city is worth visiting in September, when Baranjske Jeseni are held, and if you like fishing, you can relax next to Šećeransko lake.
