Biškupija
The Bishop’s residence was built in the early 15th century. It is where Krištafor, the Bishop of Modruš, stayed after having fled from the Turks with his clergy. After Bishop Krištafor fled, Novi Vinodolski became the seat of the diocese of Modruš. Biškupija was the residence of bishops. It was renewed by Bishop Ivan Kr. Ježić, who died in 1833. If you are visiting Novi Vindolski and you love history, then you should visit Biškupija and learn more about its history.
