Bourguignon fort, originally named Fort Monsival, is situated on a small hill and was later named after the Austrian Admiral Anton von Baumberg Bourguignon. The fort was designed as a circular building with a circular courtyard in the period from 1861 to 1866, with the aim of protecting the main port of the Austrian navy. The fort has a cannon port and three gun ports, while the roof is used as the artillery platform. Škoda’s observation dome has survived to this day. In the fortress concerts were held of entertainment electronic music, and it is also famous for offering a beautiful view of the Pula.
