The Church was consecrated in 1770 by Gaspar Negri, who later built a Dominican monastery there, because they have, by 1752, been a part of the church. The beautiful, one-nave church is a baroque style building with a baroque bell tower, added later and 18 meters high. It consists of the sacristy, the sanctuary, the dome and the apse. The interior of the church includes several altars, while the main altar contains the tabernacle, and also various stone statues.
