City Council (Cetinje-Montenegro)
The City Council has 33 members, and it was constituted in its present form on March 3, 2010. The Cetinje City Council adopts the Statute, regulations and other acts, plans and programs for development, budget, introduces local revenues, determines the amount of taxes, disposes of property of Cetinje and gives consent for decisions on the establishment of local centers. It is also responsible for deciding on remuneration for the members, co-operation with other local communities and other countries, and also initiates the initiative for amendments to laws and other regulations, issues an ethics code, develops a program for raising monuments and other activities determinated by law and Statute.
