City Museum
The city of Vrbnik is rich in cultural and artistic heritage – the Vitezić family library, the ethno collection and the Glagolitic memorial printing office of Blaž Baromić and Dragutin Parčić. The Vitezić family library was founded by brothers Ivan and Dinko Vitezić in 1898. The library contains a variety of breviaries, valuable books and Glagolitic missals, and most notable, one of the two preserved copies in the world, the atlas of Johann David Kohler from 1718. The ethno collection is a rich collection of objects of Neda Trinajstić’s family, containing copper pots, traditional costumes and porcelain dinnerware and the like. The Glagolitic printing office is dedicated to the Glagolitic priest Blaž Baromić and the lexicographer and author of the Italian-Croatian dictionary Dragutin Parčić.
