Istrian Contemporary Art museum
The museum activity has a duty to collect, process, display, save and transfer the knowledge of art, and this is actually what the Museum of Contemporary Art of Istria does. It collects art that emerged as early as the second half of the 20th century, all the way to the latest contemporary works. The museum focuses on monitoring, presentation and promotion of contemporary art forms by organizing different programs, symposia, courses and exhibitions in Croatia and abroad. The museum is linked to cultural and other relevant public institutions, and its activities should be enriched by the the issuance of catalogs, magazines, scientific and professional publications. This Istrian museum should become a cultural and artistic center, and serve as an incentive of Istrian artists.
