Buje
On the hills, surrounded by vineyards and olive groves, there is the city of Buje. Buje is located only 13 kilometres away from Umag. Apart from the typical Istrian landscape, you will also be impressed by a medieval castle situated on the Momjan hill, which is one of the most beautiful green vistas. Here, you can also find one of the most famous wine roads in Croatia, and it is also a great pleasure to explore the olive oil roads, where you can discover everything about the production and processing of this well-known produce. We also advise visiting the Old Castle, the Beer House San Servolo, the old cellar in Momjan and the agritourism Radešić in Krasica and trying the best local specialties, which are prepared according to the traditional Istrian recipes.
