Pazin
Pazin is a town located in the heart of the Istrian peninsula, known for its rich and long tradition. The town was first mentioned in 983 as the Pazin fortress. In the 12th century it became the center of the Pazin County which was later taken over by the Habsburgs, and then thanks to Austria became the administrative center of the Istria County. Pazin is a beautiful city which can be visited any time of the year, and is characterized by its rich historical heritage, cultural attractions, various events, beautiful scenery and other attractions that will spark your interest. Its position in the interior of Istria attracts a large number of tourists, especially on the first Tuesday of the month when the Pazin Fair takes place.
