Pomer is an old fishing village located in the Medulin Bay. Even in the ancient, it was inhabited by the Romans who built a spa, luxury villas and a small harbor there. The village was named Pomoerium. Later, the place was famous for centuries for its fishing practice and cultivation of shellfish. In recent years, Pomer became a distinct tourist destination. A marina was built there with 250 berths and 50 dry berths. Also, there is a camp site in the pine forest. With the remains of Roman baths and villas, as the most important cultural and historical monument in the village, there is a church of St. Flora, which dates back to the Byzantine era.
