Vir island
Vir island
The island of Vir is one of the many islands in the beautiful Zadar archipelago. It is located in the north-west of Dalmatia and is the twentieth-largest Croatian island. Since 1976, Vir has been connected to the mainland via port bridge. Vir was mentioned in the Charter of King Petar Krešimir IV in 1069. Vir is worth visiting throughout the whole year because of its number of sunny days and hours. When visiting this beautiful island, we suggest you stay in one of the local apartments, houses and family guesthouses.
