Croatian National Bank
In the palace of the former Zagreb Stock Exchange, which was built in 1927, is the seat of the Croatian National Bank (HNB). This building is the most important work of Viktor Kovačić, and it is listed as a heritage site. The objective of the Croatian National Bank is to maintain price stability in the country. The building boasts three facades, which are made of Brač stone. After Kovačić’s death, his long-time associate Hugo Erlich continued designing the interior space according to Kovačić’s ideas.
