The Croatian State Archives are the national archives of Croatia located in its capital, Zagreb. This institution, which was established in 1907, keeps the charters with city rights and letters of the free royal borough of Zagreb. In 1947 it moved to the Erdődi Drašković palace dating from the 19th century. It performs archival services related to archival and current records created by state bodies, state and public institutions and enterprises, by corporate bodies, and by families and individuals whose activity covers the whole or a greater part of Croatia, or is of national interest.
