Donkeys on Telašćica
Donkeys on Telašćica
Donkeys have always been a great help to man, but they’re no longer used, so that this nature park has become their refuge, and is now a home to 14 donkeys. Primorsko – dinarski or Dalmatian donkey is an indigenous and protected species of donkey on the Croatian territory and an important part of tradition and heritage. Donkeys are accustomed to people, and because they are too curious they have been known to steal things from bags and are therefore fenced, but you can still take pictures and carefully hang out with them.
