Forest Park Marjan

Forest Park Marjan and viewpoint
Located in the western part of the Marjan peninsula, the hilly forest park is one of the symbols of Split. There are three peaks and a viewpoint offering a beautiful view of Split and the surrounding area. The highest peak Telegrin is 178 meters high. Marjan is located about 3.5 kilometres from the Marmont Street. The maximum width is about 1.5 kilometres. The afforestation of Marjan began in 1852, and in 1903 the Society of Marjan, which takes care of it to this day, was founded . The Sustipan peninsula is on the south side of Marjan.
