Holy Family Church
Church of the Holy Family (Osijek)
Church of the Holy Family was established in early January 1968, and its construction started four years later. It consists of two parts, the lower and upper part in the form of an ellipse. The lower part consists of a vestibule, a religious education hall, a sacristy and a chapel. The altar is adorned with the image of the Holy Family painted by Friar Budimir Cvitković. The church was destroyed during the Homeland War, and its interior was renewed, while the exterior was not fully arranged and renovated. A large cross, the statue of Our Lady of Lourdes and nine stained glass windows by Branimir Dorotić were placed on the facade of the bell tower on the fortieth anniversary of the parish. The church was consecrated in 2008 by Archbishop Mons. Marin Srakić.
