Vukovar Hospital and Museum
The Vukovar hospital is a symbol of destruction and remembrance of the military occupation during the Homeland War. At the end of August until the fall of Vukovar, on 18 November 1991, this was a military hospital where the wounded and the pregnant women were daily transported. They sought assistance from the medical staff despite the bombing and destruction of the hospital during the occupation of Vukovar. An exact reconstruction of the life of several hundred wounded and hospital staff during the occupation of the city that lasted several months has been set up in the basement of the Vukovar Hospital. Apart from that, here you can see where the “krmača” (sow) bomb was dropped.
