Jomtien Beach
Jomtien Beach (Pattaya-Thailand)
The most popular alternative to Pattaya beach, though a bit more calm, is this one. It is located 3,5 km south from Pattaya; it stretches for 6 km and has pretty much everything which Pattaya beach has – except for nightclubs, which makes it a bit more calm and family suited. There is a whole range of water sports that visitors can try (like windsurfing, jet skis, banana boat ride etc.). You could also just rent a parasol and deck chair and relax. There are several shops, apartments and hotels available in the area. In case you get lost, there are two info centers in the area.

Tips:
This beach is crowded with people, but it is still less crowded than the main Pattaya beach. When it comes to the contents, you won’t be lacking any: you can rent a scooter, a parachute, a deck chair or visit many restaurants or bars. Prior to the beach, there are hotels. If you like quiet holidays, then book accommodation here.
