The Jošava Lake is located about 2 kilometers north-northeast of Đakovo. It is an artificial lake which was built in 1963. Its primary purposes are fish farming, sports and recreation. This lake was made from the man-made earth fill dam, so the water accumulates in front of the dam, sinking the surrounding fields and creating a lake. It is 4.5 kilometres long and its average width is 200 metres. The lake stretches west-east.
