Kotli
The village of Kotli is situated along the river Mirna. In the past watermills brought great wealth to Kotli and even today, despite inadequate weather conditions, the village boasts the local watermill. Picturesque chimneys, doorways and porches are still preserved and hence contribute to the beauty of the whole village. This village was named after the pits the river Mirna created with its own power. Unfortunately, the river is often dried up (during the dry season), although in the past this did not tend to happen because of a constant source which it had back then. What contributes to the beauty of the scenery of Kotli are also the Krka falls.
