Lake Mir (Dugi otok)
The southwestern part of the nature park holds the popular lake Mir, located between the open sea and the bay Telašćica, where you can take a swim. The lake was formed by the rising of the sea level and water coming into it through underground cracks making this a salty lake. The lake shore is mostly rocky and decorated with cracks, with a little sandy part. The bottom of the lake is also mostly rocky with some parts covered with argillaceous and therapeutic mud. In the lake, algae, sea bass, snails, shellfish, crabs, eels and other can be found.
