Palace and Museum Battiala Lazzarini
The palace and museum Battiala Lazzarini, one of the most beautiful sights of Labin, is situated next to the parish church of the Blessed Virgin Mary. Its baroque beauty, red facade and interesting blue windows lure the looks of every visitor. It was built by the Lazzarini family in the 17th century, but has retained its magnificent original appearance due to various arrangements and reconstructions. Brothers Giuseppe, Nicolo and Tommaso were the last owners of this beautiful palace. They left behind a family crest featuring a phoenix, which symbolizes immortality. Today, the palace serves as a museum that you absolutely must visit.
