Lovran
Lovran is a small town located on the eastern coast of Istria in the Kvarner Bay, at the foot of Učka, the greenest mountain known for its richness in plant resources in all of the Adriatic. It is only 19 kilometers away from Croatia’s largest port – Rijeka. If you’re interested in the history of Lovran, make sure to visit it as it offers a rich historical heritage, centuries-old tourist tradition and untouched nature. Within the old town you can find buildings from the 13th and 14th century, and only some of them are completely preserved. In and around Lovran you can find a plant called laurel, after which this small town was named.
