Medieval town Erdut
Erdut is known for its medieval fortress, whose ruins rise on the hill above the Danube. What is left of the fortress is the ruins of two towers and walls. The round tower is preserved in its original form, reminiscent of the Italian Renaissance buildings from the 15th century. To the east you can see the remains of the wall leading to the main square tower, which is located in the centre of the site. Also, there you can find a three-storey building, which is extended on its final part. There is a part of the wall that is separated from the circular tower.
