Museum of Đakovština
The Museum of Đakovština (Đakovo)
The Museum of Đakovština was established in 1952. If you are a fan of history, you will be pleased to learn that the museum was founded due to donations and archaeological excavations. Its permanent exhibition features items from the New Stone Age to the High Middle Ages. In the Museum of Đakovština you can also find the Ethnographic Collection with the richest traditional textile material, different types of folk costumes, among which the richest and most famous female costume is the one with gold wire. The ethnographic collection contains several thousand images of different formats and contents.
