Museum Oil Refinery Grubić
Do you want to visit a museum built in a special place which kept its original form? In Bale you can find the Museum Oil Refinery Grubić – Matija Grubić is credited with its magnificent appearance. In 2008 Grubić turned this place into an enviable site. The old oil refinery, which is the only restored collection of this kind in Istria, was built in 1930, and although it was later renovated, it retained its original appearance. In the museum you can see a stone mill, a press and hydraulic pumps. The museum also offers the possibility of tasting extra virgin olive oil that is made from indigenous trees.
