Sacred Hearts Museum
Sacred Hearts museum
In 1908, the Church of the Sacred Hearts of Jesus and Mary was built. It housed the nuns who built this very church and the monastery. The nuns left the monastery after the Second World War, and it was since used as the home of the Technical School. In 1958, the church was taken over by the Archaeological Museum, and in 2011 it became the latest museum and gallery space in Pula. In the Museum of Sacred Hearts, in its beautifully decorated interior, lectures, performances, films, festivals and concerts are often held, and the exterior provides facilities for events.
