Skunar Fishing Park
Skunar (Sakuna) Fishing Park (Bangkok-Thailand)
Skunar is located in Samout Prakarn province or half-hour ride from Bangkok. The place is very popular on weekends, probably due to competitions that are being held every Sunday. The venue is really nice, with lawns that are stretching all the way to the water and small huts that are making shade for the anglers. There are lots of fish species, but the most common one is the Mekong catfish. Since it is pretty cheap, this place is a great alternative to the popular (and expensive) Bungsamran. Another thing that makes this place attractive is their free bait mixing service. This fishing park may not have the biggest fish (around 20-30kg weight), but it surely has its cons. Namely, this is one of the cheapest fishing parks near Bangkok, thus the Rabbit recommends it. It is popular among the locals and there is also a restaurant where You can get refreshment.
